Krivoklat Castle

Krivoklat, one of the oldest royal castles in our history, dates back to the 12th century under the reign of  Premysl Otakar II. It was also rebuilt by Wenceslas IV. and Vladislav Jagelonsky.

Krivoklat features Gothic painting and sculpture, a library with 52 thousand volumes, the Füstenberske Museum, a famous prison and torture chamber.

The Royal Hall with a spectacular vaulted ceiling, and a large tower and hunting collections.

The Krivoklat Castle is located 60 km west of Prague.
